At WEAREPURA.COM, henceforth referred to as PURA, we manufacture products with a high degree of reliability, durability, and quality. With over 40 years of experience as a pioneering company in the Water Treatment industry, PURA guarantees to each original purchaser, henceforth referred to as the buyer, that their product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the LIFETIME (hereafter referred to as “LIFE”) of the product’s parts and pieces.
Under the limited LIFETIME warranty at PURA, a product that meets the terms and conditions listed below will be repaired or replaced at PURA’s discretion, free of charge for parts or labor to the buyer who has purchased their PURA branded product from an Official PURA Store, whether online at wearepura.com or in a physical store, henceforth referred to as PURA STORE:
- Product Parts and Pieces: PURA offers a limited LIFETIME Warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions that limit this warranty extension, based on the high degree of reliability, durability, and quality of each PURA product.
- Supplies: Regarding supplies, the warranty covers 6 months for failures or defects, starting from the date of purchase. The PURA Technical Service has determined that this is sufficient time for any defects in quality or manufacturing deficiencies that were not detected during the quality control tests the supplies underwent to become evident.
- Hydration Bottles: Regarding sustainable hydration bottles, the warranty covers 6 months for failures or defects, starting from the date of purchase. The PURA Technical Service has determined that this is sufficient time for any defects in quality or manufacturing deficiencies that were not detected during the quality control tests the bottles underwent to become evident.
Did you purchase through a Marketplace?
If the product was not purchased from an Official PURA Store (PURA STORE or on the website wearepura.com), the warranty period is limited to 90 days in accordance with consumer protection regulations.
You can register your purchase to extend to the Official PURA Warranty: If your purchase was made through our third-party e-commerce sales channels (Amazon, HomeDepot, OfficeDepot, HEB, Walmart, SEARS, among other examples from all third-party commercial platforms where the PURA product may be listed for sale) or from an Authorized PURA Distributor1, we invite you to register your product to extend it to the Official PURA Warranty.
1 An Authorized PURA Distributors are understood to be those sellers authorized by WEAREPURA.COM to market its products in physical and/or online stores.
SCOPE:
As deemed appropriate, PURA may perpetually renew the warranty, ensuring the repair or replacement of the product or any part thereof that has been determined to be defective, provided that the terms and conditions of use are met.
The use of original PURA spare parts is mandatory for this warranty to be valid.
In the event that the product is covered by this warranty and needs to be repaired or replaced, the freight and insurance costs associated with the operation are the responsibility of the customer, with a discount provided by Pura as applicable.
The repair under this warranty will be carried out within the timeframe established by Pura’s Technical Service department from the receipt of the equipment.
Pura will not be responsible for damages to the products it manufactures due to misuse and/or alterations or modifications to their function or design. Misuse is considered to be any use of the product for a function different from that for which it was designed, manufactured, and/or purchased.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
- The use of water containing a high content of organic matter, toxic substances, algae, or large solids that may obstruct the equipment’s cavities. A special water treatment must be used to remove these substances before they enter this equipment. Otherwise, PURA will have no obligation under this warranty.
- In consideration of the warranty requirements, it is recommended that the water be evaluated beforehand, at the buyer’s expense, to ensure it is fit for consumption and does not contain a high amount of suspended materials or visible solid particles. This may be substituted with a current technical report (less than 5 years old) on water quality at your property.
- Damage to one or more parts of the system caused by events such as fires, accidents, irrational use, abuse, or negligence by the owner.
- Damage to parts or components of the equipment as a result of installation methods other than those offered by PURA.
- Damage to parts or components of the equipment as a result of using supplies other than those offered by PURA. In particular, the replacement of the Core within the timeframe indicated at the time of purchase.
- Imperfections that occur as a result of use with defective or inadequate plumbing; water supply with insufficient or excessive pressure, failures in the electrical service at the installation site, whether defective or inadequate.
- Wear and tear from the daily use of connections, supplies, plastic rubber parts; incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product.
- The detection of alterations and/or repairs carried out by personnel not authorized by PURA will result in the termination of the warranty.
Conditions of Use:
The warranty stated herein, in any of its forms, will only be valid if all the conditions listed below are met in the use of the product. The evidence, even if not immediate, of any improper use or contrary to what is stated here, expressly exempts from the state of warranty, both contractual and legal.
- The use of original PURA spare parts is mandatory for this warranty to be valid. PURA will not be responsible for damages to the products it manufactures due to misuse and/or alterations or modifications to their function or design. Misuse is considered to be any use of the product for a function different from that for which it was designed, manufactured, and/or purchased.
- The lifetime warranty will only remain valid if the replacement of supplies, as documented, is carried out within the timeframe indicated at the time of purchase. Interruption of this schedule implies the end of the coverage, without this being excusable due to force majeure or external cause. The replacement will only be considered valid, in terms of this clause, if the replacement core is “PURA”. We do not respond to failures during the use of cores that are not “PURA”.
- Do not expose to high temperatures or outdoors, and avoid exposure to sunlight as well as to heat sources (stoves, heaters, electric resistances, among other examples).
- For the use of the PURA product, the specific specifications included in each User Manual must be taken into account.
- It is essential to comply with microbiological requirements that ensure the normal functioning of the equipment. The warranty will not be valid if it is proven that it is not being used with microbiologically safe water that meets the parameters established by the US standard related to potable water from public supply.
- It will be an indispensable requirement to present, at the time of delivering the product for technical review, the proper proof of Purchase, or Warranty Certificate issued by PURA, as applicable. In any circumstance, the purchase invoice duly signed by PURA will be sufficient evidence.
- In the event that the product is covered by this warranty and needs to be repaired or replaced, the freight and insurance costs associated with the operation are the responsibility of the BUYER.
- The repair under this warranty will be carried out within the timeframe established by the PURA Technical Service department from the receipt of the equipment.
- Upon receipt of the equipment by the Technical Service, PURA specialists will conduct a preliminary report on compliance with warranty conditions. If this report determines that the conditions of these clauses have been met, the repair will proceed. If the opposite is determined, the result of the report will be informed to the BUYER, who will then indicate the appropriate action and proceed to retrieve the equipment from the Technical Service at their expense. At that same act, a copy of the Report will be provided, along with the termination of the Warranty.
- The BUYER agrees that PURA reserves the right to void any warranty, written or implied, if upon PURA’s examination the product is found to PURA’s satisfaction to have failed wholly or partly due to an accident, misuse, negligence, abuse, alteration, improper installation, unauthorized repair, or incorrect testing by the BUYER or an agent of the BUYER.
- If the product becomes obsolete, PURA, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to repair the product with available replacement parts or to upgrade the product to a commercially available current version of the original product. In the event that PURA deems it necessary to upgrade the product, the BUYER agrees to pay an upgrade fee equivalent to seventy percent of the retail value of the replacement product. Henceforth, PURA does not claim that replacement products will look, function, or operate in the same or similar manner as the original product.
