Annual Replaceable Pack for Reverse Osmosis
The Pack 1 Control is the annual maintenance kit for the Antartico Water Purification Plant and for PURA Water Purification Plants with three stages of primary treatment. It is compatible with compact industrial systems such as the PURA OiSTART, PURA OiSTAGE, PURA OiMAX, and PURA OiMASTER, all designed to produce the highest quality and purity of water for food processing, laboratories, aquariums, among other applications. It is also compatible with the system in your home, which allows you to obtain the best quality water from the best bottling plant globally, free of packaging and at your home, like the Antartico Home Water Purification Plant.
On average, the Pack 1 Control replacement is done once a year, replacing these three treatment stages composed of microfiltration that removes impurities, ultrafiltration that eliminates viruses and bacteria, and adsorption that eliminates organic compounds, halogenated compounds, and chemicals such as chlorine, chloramines, THMs, agrochemicals, and hydrocarbon residues.

Easy like a Sunday Morning
This is how you can replace the Pack 1 Control yourself, using the Easy-Change system so you don’t have to rely on a technician. However, if you feel you need assistance, please contact us!
- Turn off the system: Disconnect the power supply and close the water inlet valve that supplies the reverse osmosis system.
- Remove the filter housings: Take off the housings containing the pre-treatment filters. These are located at the bottom of the unit. Use the provided housing wrench to easily remove them.
- Remove the used filters: Twist the filters counterclockwise to unscrew them. Once unscrewed, remove them from the system. Remember, you can take it to a PURA Store for us to give it a recycling-related destination.
- Install the new filters: Take the new filters and screw them clockwise into the same positions where the old filters were.
- Turn on the system: Open the water inlet valve and reconnect the power supply to turn on the reverse osmosis system.
- Check for any leaks: Let the system run for a few minutes and check for any leaks or operational issues.
Ready to use: Once the process is completed, the Pack 1 Control will be ready to effectively purify water for the next year.
The replacement of this Pack should be done annually to ensure the proper functioning of your entire Purification Plant.
