Anti-Scale Replaceable Core
The replacement inner core of each PURA BIG SOFT is designed for a specific function: to prevent further scale buildup and clean pipes from previously formed scale. Our technology, formulated with Sodium Hexametaphosphate crystals, neutralizes the incrustation in all types, materials, and diameters of pipes.
Its lifespan averages one year of use in hard water conditions.

The PURA SOFT Anti-Scale Core is made up of small amorphous crystals of high-purity Sodium Hexametaphosphate. The technology of the materials and manufacturing provides the highest rigidity, durability, and ensures that the dissolution effect in the water is optimal.

Replacing your Anti-Scale Core.
1. Turn off the water supply to the tank.
2. Use the provided wrench to open the filter housing.
3. Remove the old Anti-Scale Core from the housing and dispose of it properly. IMPORTANT: Remember, you can take it to a PURA Store for us to give it a recycling-related destination.
4. Insert the new Anti-Scale Core into the housing, ensuring it is seated properly.
5. Close the housing back onto the water line and tighten it securely.
6. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
You are ready to go, your Anti-Scale PURA BIG SOFT is totally renewed.
The replacement of this replaceable internal purifying core is the only maintenance your PURA equipment needs, as it is designed with durable parts meant to last a lifetime. The only maintenance required is to replace the unique internal purifying core once you’ve treated 365,000 liters of water, free from scale buildup (equivalent to a year’s worth of water consumption for an entire household).
